Reaching Accepting

Image 153 of 208

The ONE: Reaching Accepting; 24"x24"; mixed media on canvas; 2017—— A square, containing two hands made from heavy brown wire at opposite corners posing the question of which is which, each hand with wires extending from the fingers connecting them and one wire dropped to several non-di figures lined up at the bottom left, the “watchers” if you will, observing the action in silent respectful participation. Is an action still an action if no one else sees? Is the dropped wire a link or invitation, or, representing the innate connection of the crowd dynamic attending?
