The Magic of Symbols: Stars On My Front Door

If you’ve been following my posts you’ll know that I have this thing for “symbols” and the effect they have on us, the way we think and see the worlds around us.

I love stars. They are a perfect balance and design. For the past 16 or so years I’ve collected them around Christmas and put one (sometimes angels or interesting shape) on my front door. As you can see by the photo, I’ve almost covered half the door. This year I bought an angel, it is at the top.

As you can see they bring a feeling of whimsy and stop you in your tracks to look at them closer.

Remember, do something every day that makes you or someone else smile

Parenting Tip: Paying attention has a payoff…

Any chance you get to bring your attention to your child is energy well spent.

Any chance you get to assist your child to bring their attention to what they are thinking, saying or doing is time AND energy well spent.

When this process is repeated both you, your child and the world benefits from the attention and IT changes.

How are you spending your energy? Where is does it go? Creative Energy Coaching works with individuals who enthusiastically want to see, fee and apply their personal energy to finally get out of the stuck spinning and begin living their dreams.

Remember, parenting begins from the inside out… and getting to know your energy begins now!

You Create Your Day!

One great way to start your day is to be up early, plan an event and invite friends to join you. This is something you can plan on a regular basis like a networking meeting or on the spur.

Years ago I had a standard walk every Saturday morning I’d be at Manhattan Beach for an hour walk and breakfast and my friends who knew about it would call to meet me and we all got exercise and community.

Some of the things I like to plan for this adventure are:

  • watching sunrise
  • walking, running, cycling
  • coffee news time
  • group exercise of some type

When you put shared experience into any part of your life it takes on a new way of appearing. To find out more about my Creative Energy Coaching contact me at coach@beitnow.com to see how we can change your life and the way your use your energy.

Parenting Tip: What is it with Questions, 2-year olds and Parenting?

What is it with questions? There, that’s a question. Pay attention right now to your thoughts, is there a question there? See if you can notice how many questions you have over a 5 minute period, consciously know.

I bet there are quite a few if you are able to catch them! They have a habit of moving fast.

No wonder 2-year olds love to ask Why? its really an exciting request don’t you think? They are just now beginning to “see” the world and listen to what is being said around and to them so why not ask questions? I propose that one of the surest ways to gage our level of confidence is in the way our questions are attended to not only when we are very young but also as we grow.

Take the time to think on the questions that pass through your thoughts and listen to your children’s too. Are they being answered and How?

Remember, parenting begins from the inside out!™

Parenting Tip: Keeping focused and energized with Parenting…

The more you are interested in the process of parenting, without getting too attached to the “right or wrong” of what the social norm is… you’ll find you are the most qualified thought expert when it comes to your children. You are the one who knows them best, and if you didn’t before you read my concepts, you will be after you do.

The first step is to not only watch and listen but to observe and hear.

Take the next few days to apply these actions and make notes about what you see.

Remember, parenting begins from the inside out.™

Coaching: Do You Know How To Find “Magic In The Night?”

I’ve talked about not being able to sleep… sometimes when this happens “magic in the night” shows up and gives me a boost of the wonder of being alive. Tonight was such a night for me.

It’s early, all evening I had thoughts running through my head… I’m in the mist of a change of thinking so I’ve been staying up late, early. I was just finishing my evening sitting, meditation when I heard voices outside and when I looked out, there were about 15 cyclists riding by my home… it’s 4 a.m.! Young men and women, bright front white lights and rear flashing red lights, conversation, giggles, backpacks, waterbottles, and helmets.

Parenting Tip: Parenting and Can We Avoid Transfering our Fears To Our Children?

As a parent one of my biggest fears was that I was going to transfer my fears and weaknesses to my son. What I learned was that as long as I was aware of my fears and the what and how they showed up I was doing fine.

It was when I began noticing that I wasn’t always aware I had a fear until I was “in” it that the Wow! I had to deal with it right then with my son present, that I started the questions.

Questions that guided me on my path of becoming a more consciously connected parent and brought and created a continuous sense of wonder and adventure to my life and my sons.

Learn more how this is possible from my book and my coaching services. Contact me for more information in the comments box below and check out “Coaching Parent Coaching Child” book in the Life Dialogue Store.

Remember, parenting begins from the inside out and continues a lifetime of wonder.

Parenting Tip: How do we “get” Parenting? What’s its URL & keyword?

No, parenting isn’t a flu, or something we buy at the store. It also doesn’t have a bunch of salespeople who knock on our door at dinner time AND there is no renewable license! So what is the how and what of parenting?

My coaching is about energy, so lets start there as a how…yes, stretch your mind into this… it will be fun. For the purpose of this conversation, lets imagine parenting being attention. Oooooh sounds good doesn’t it?

If the saying “energy flows where our attention goes” can be considered correct, then when we place our attention on the action of parenting, we are creating the energy, passion, Continue reading
